The IntraSCAN Email Gateway Service provides a comprehensive
Email Content Security Solution. Since IntraSCAN is a service, there
is no software or hardware to buy. Your inbound and outbound Internet Email is simply
routed through the IntraSCAN Email Gateway, and is then scanned
by multiple virus scanning engines. It is then sent through our unique adaptive
SPAM filters and offensive language filters. And finally, if an outbound message,
your organization's unique message stamp (disclaimer, company signature, promotion,
etc.) is appended, and the message is fowarded on to the intended recipient. If
it is an inbound message, it is forwarded on to your email server.
In addition to threat filteriIn addition to threat filtering, our IntraSCAN service
also allows for optional message continuity and encryption. Our message
continuity service lets you access your messages through an online portal even if
your mail server is down. Our encryption service allows you to encrypt unlimited
messages and provide an overall email policy management tool.
Comprehensive reporting for Domain and User usage statistics is available to all
IntraSCAN customers through the BusinessNET Web Portal. The BusinessNET Web Portal
can also be used to add or delete your organizations's authorized Internet Email
users. You can also change message stamps, notifications, and other IntraSCAN service
options, through the BusinessNET Web Portal.
